Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)

This coverage protects you for loss of, or damage to the rental vehicle.

Note: LDW coverage with different deductible apply to the type of vehicle class.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

This coverage insures the renter and passengers of the vehicle for accidental bodily injury.

Personal Effects Coverage (PEC)

This coverage insures against physical loss, or damage to the insured property contained in the vehicle.

Excess Liability Insurance (ELI)

ELI is a special optional insurance offered by Budget when you rent a Budget vehicle. It is Excess Automobile Liability that provides additional liability insurance, above the limits provided in the Budget Rental Agreement.

As an additional service to our customers we allow 3 additional drivers to be added to the contract at a rate of $10/person/day.

Vehicles must be picked up at least one hour prior to a location's closing time. Hours of operation can be found by viewing the specific location.

For Vancouver International Airport and Abbotsford Airport, service are limited and restricted to deplaning passengers only. Customers must present current airline ticket or boarding pass at time of rental.

Budget, like all other car rental companies, requires drivers to be 25 years of age or older. Employees 21 years of age and older with a corporate account traveling on business may also rent from Budget.

Vehicles may be returned after our business hours. Special conditions and some restrictions may apply. More information can be obtained at the time of pickup.
